Hey guys, hope everyone is doing lovely. I’m dropping in because I’m thankful for another week here on Earth. Today I’m gonna dive into some mindset tips and tricks to help create a positive mindset for yourself. I wanted to write about some things that I practice in my own life that help me live and find optimum happiness and love in every moment. I have learned more or less through trial and error in my own life. Mindset truly creates reality. The power or your mind is an incredible force and once you understand that having control over your mind equates to having control over your life…you’ll realize that anything is possible.
Many of us will find ourselves driving down the road running through a list of things to do, analyzing past moments, dreading work, or thinking about what you’re going to do tomorrow. Sometimes we will even drive past our turn or pull up to our destination without any true recollection of the drive there. This happens when you are not living in the present moment. You must realize that the only moment we ever truly have is now. We can learn from the past, but we can’t change it. So while it’s good to internally reflect on certain situations in your past in order to learn and grow from them, it’s not good to dwell there. Your entire life may shift paths in the blink of an eye. Tomorrow may never come for you. Trying to plan the future or control everything that is going to happen to you will leave you drained and unhappy. The only moment you ever have in your life is now. Enjoy this moment and it will last forever. If you find your mind wander simply turn inward and use your breath to guide you back to the present. Inhale and exhale deeply. Listen to the air flow in and out. Feel your lungs and belly fill up and deflate with each breath. Use the environment around you to ground yourself. Recognize where you are, what it smells like, what it feels like, and you’ll connect to your true self.
Whatever you do, do it with love. Your intention is everything. The good and the bad, the yin and the yang, balance is always key in life. You’re allowed to feel anger and sadness, but when you feel those feelings and understand why you’re feeling them, you must meet them with love. Genuine and pure love. That is the only way to elevate the human experience. We must try to understand each other and love one another. We have all been created from stardust and biological processes that have put us here on this planet today. Sometimes you will disagree with peoples views and may find that it is hard to understand the way they think. You must try to understand that their life experiences and the neurons firing in their brain created their perspectives to be unique and their own. You must show these people love and kindness and treat them how you wish to be treated. Hate will only push people down. We must lift each other up. Now more than ever it is apparent that we are on the cusp of the next evolution in human consciousness and the only way to get to the next step is with love. Love for yourself and love for others.
Gratitude is the attitude
Be grateful. For everything. If you are open to it, you are provided with everything you NEED for your intended path on Earth. Being thankful for the good you have in your life will leave the gate open for more good to flow in. Being thankful for the not so good things in life will give you perspective and appreciation for all that is good. I can’t argue that bad things never happen to good people, because that simply isn’t true. But viewing it as an opportunity to learn, grow, and become the light for others in similar situations is necessary to keep the bad stuff from getting you stuck. You can use these negative situations as tools to help you spread your light and love all over the universe. But if you choose to be in a negative state of mind, you will attract more negative into your life. It’s called the law of attraction. It’s real, and it’s dictating your life right now.
Life can be complicated. But the beautiful chaos is what makes it worth living. Presently, in love, and in gratitude, in every moment of your life. Please let us know your favorite things you do to practice mindfulness.
